The Prevention, Health and Wellness Division of the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board currently has a pair of virtual training programs available to the community—Nurturing Parenting and Children First Co-Parenting.
The 15-week Nurturing Parenting program is held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays. The cost is $25 for the handbook and $25 per person/per session. Parents can enroll at any time. Pre-registration by phone is required.
Children First Co-Parenting classes are held on the following dates from 4-8 p.m.—Wednesday, June 28, Thursday, July 27, Thursday, Sept. 21 and Thursday, Oct. 19. The four-hour class is designed to promote positive and healthy communication for families experiencing the challenges of transition through separation and/or divorce.
