Dr. Colleen Betti, alongside members of the Woodville Rosenwald School Foundation Descendents Community and the Fairfield Foundation, conducted an archaeological dig at the Woodville Rosenwald School, Hayes, on Sept. 18. The project aimed to unearth and preserve the site’s history prior to the installation of a new walking trail around the building. Members of the Descendents Community worked collaboratively to explore the grounds and recover historical artifacts.
