“Voting in the Age of a Pandemic” is the topic for a CircleUp Middle Peninsula Facebook Live event, to be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

“One of the most important responsibilities we have as American citizens is to cast our ballot,” a release from the community action group stated. “Due to the coronavirus, numerous changes have recently been put into place by our legislature and will be implemented by our local registrars. It is important that you know about these changes and pass on accurate information to others.”

Registrars from Mathews (Carla Faulkner) and Middlesex (Melissa Welch) will join in the live event to let voters know what they need to do to effectively cast their ballots. Following their presentations, there will be a time for questions and answers.
