The West Mathews Community League will hold a Fall Festival from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the league headquarters on East River Road near Bohannon.
The league owns and maintains the former Peninsula School, which opened in 1913.
The festival will include sale of crafts and yard sale items; table spaces are available for $10. The Honeywind Bluegrass Boys will perform from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The league will sell Brunswick stew, pumpkins, and freshly-pressed apple juice. Cornhole games will be set up. Hamburgers, hot dogs, iced tea and coffee will be offered for sale. ...
