Walking to end Alzheimer’s

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s—Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck 2019 on Saturday was a greater success than organizers imagined, according to event chair Heidi Bristow. The walk surpassed its goal of raising $52,000 before the day of the event and by the time the walk was over, that total had jumped to more than $75,000. Bristow said this is the largest amount ever raised during the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck walk. Above are a few of the over 300 walkers who participated in the event.
