Nicolaos B. Totten graduated summa cum laude with a master in business administration degree from Virginia Tech during commencement ceremonies May 14. Totten also received the Student Leadership Award, as determined by the student body, as the graduate student who exemplifies the highest level of academic prowess and potential as a future business leader. Totten, a senior consultant for OCTO Consulting Group in Vienna, is the son of Celeta Totten of Mathews.

Justin Yarnell graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Christopher Newport University during commencement ceremonies May 15. An accounting major, Yarnell was named the 2011 Accounting Student of the Year. He will pursue his CPA license while employed by Dixon Hughes Goodman. Yarnell is the son of Brian and Dorothy Bayford of Gloucester.
