As part of the observance of National Salvation Army Week, May 12-18, The Salvation Army of the Virginia Peninsula will host a “Coffee with the Captain” reception and tour of its Gloucester office from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday with Captain Antiono Willis, leader of the Salvation Army Virginia Peninsula Command.
The public is invited to attend this event and no reservation is required. The Salvation Army Gloucester office is located at 7057 Linda Circle, Hayes.
“In the spirit of Christ’s example of fellowship and compassion, ‘Coffee with the Captain’ offers a sacred space for conversation, encouragement, and the strengthening of our bonds as a community united in faith and service in our community,” Willis said.
