The Bay School Community Arts Center will have its first Bay of Secrets Soirée at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19, in the Art Speaks Gallery at 279 Main Street, Mathews. Sixty local artists have created works of art in sizes 8” x 8” or 12” x 12” to please the eye—and the secret is who made what. Those attending the Soirée will be invited to match each artist to their work for a chance to win prizes. They may also buy their favorite canvas for $100 or bid in a silent auction of pieces made by masters. Members of the Bay School will enjoy a half- hour preview at 5:30 before the doors open to other ticketed guests. Food and drink will be available. The silent auction will close and art/artist match winners be announced at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $20, on sale now at bayschoolarts.org.
