Planning survey continues through Friday

An online survey about Gloucester’s land use, transportation and other planning matters is underway and will continue through Friday. The survey is being held to collect public opinion prior to completion of the county’s revised comprehensive plan. As of Oct. 28, 80 completed surveys had been received, according to planner Sean McNash.

McNash said staff will present a preliminary review of survey findings to the Gloucester County Planning Commission when it meets at 7:30 tonight in the colonial courthouse. To take the survey, visit http://speakupgloucesterva.info and look under “Surveys.”

In other business, the commission will discuss a proposed amendment to the Gloucester County Code pertaining to Residential Mixed Use (RMX) District regulations.
