Mathews Rotarians upgrade B&G Club computer room

Earlier this month, the Mathews Rotary Club completed a project to upgrade the computer room at the Mathews Boys & Girls Club.

With material donated from Lowe’s in Gloucester, a grant from Rotary District 7610, $1,000 from the Mathews Rotary Club and elbow grease from Rotary Club members, a totally refurbished computer room with seven new Dell computers came to fruition on Feb. 4.
Additionally, the Rotarians were also able to greatly expand the space in the gymnasium by bringing the hand-railing that surrounds the area above the classrooms up to code, adding several hundred square feet of usable area to the facility, a release stated.
