“Locals: Scenes and Artists” will be the featured exhibit at Arts on Main’s First Friday, to be held from 6-8 p.m. tomorrow at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester.

The show highlights the beauty and talent of the Middle Peninsula by featuring images of local scenes or art by local artists, said a press release. Light refreshments will be served and beer and wine will be available for purchase. Live music will be provided by the Harris Creekers.

Thirteen artists will be featured in June. They are Jason Abbott, Carolyn Thompson Dudley, Thomas Ema, Rick Griffin, Patrice Hobbs, Lawrence Hollingsworth, Rose Nygaard, Stacey Posner, Juli Schuszler, David Stifel, Kathryn Swanson, Brenda Sylvia and Wolf Vogelbein.

Using fiber, glass, monotype, paint, pottery and more, these artists showcase the diversity of local artistic expression and the vibrancy of the year-found Gloucester arts scene, said the release.
