An opening reception for the Bay School Community Arts Center’s October show, “Strange Things,” will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Art Speaks Gallery at 279 Main Street, Mathews. The show invites visitors to step beyond the ordinary to experience an exhibition filled with the uncanny, the imaginative, and the beautifully bizarre, said a press release. Exhibiting artists found their strange inspiration and created artwork that explores blurred realities and unexpected interpretations of the world, illustrating unusual, whimsical, eerie, or spectacularly odd perceptions.
