The first of four home regattas this season will be held Saturday at Williams Wharf Landing, starting at 8:50 a.m. Mathews High School will compete against crews from Gloucester, Christchurch School, the Williamsburg Boat Club and Great Bridge.
Additional regattas will be held at the Mathews location on April 9 (MHS, GHS, GBC and Albemarle), April 23 (MHS, GHS, GBC, Norfolk Collegiate, Granby, CCS, Albemarle, First Colonial, River City and Williamsburg) and May 7 (MHS, GHS, GBC, James River, Granby, Albemarle, J.E.B. Stuart, West Potomac, South County, Stone Bridge, Forest Park and Hickory).
Off-site parking (with a free shuttle bus) will be held on Williams Wharf Road, about a half mile from the regatta site. The parking cost is $8 per vehicle; no spectator parking will be available at Williams Wharf Landing. Food will be available for purchase on site.
