The Baystars U17 Raiders won their division of the Commonwealth Classic Soccer Tournament last weekend in Hanover. Carrie Adams scored to notch a 1-1 tie with United FC from Chesterfield in the first game.

In the next matchup, the Raiders beat the SOL Futbol, 3-1, with a pair of goals from Delaney Doyle, assisted by Mary Williams, and a third from Williams.

The Raiders then got by the Hampton Roads Strikers, 1-0, for the championship. After a scoreless first half with the Strikers, Audrey Collier delivered a beautiful set on a corner kick that was headed in by Williams.
