The Mathews Outdoor Club will hold the Mathews Marathon and Half Marathon, billed as “the world’s flattest race course,” on Saturday, Oct. 17.The race is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.Registration closes Saturday for the event, or upon reaching 500 total participants (whichever comes first).More information is available online at www.mocva.net/marathon.Participants can elect to run the entire 26.2 miles of the marathon course themselves, or as a team.
