The Gloucester High School Athletic Department will induct six new members into the GHS Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 18. 
Members of the 11th induction class include former athletes Russel Brown and Aaron Burrell from the Class of 1999, former GHS athletic director, coach and teacher Jon Hatch, and former coach and teacher Leon Palmer.
Also in the 11th induction class are former teacher and coach Deb Riley of the Class of 1978 and the late Dr. Layton “Tony” Beverage, GHS principal from 2005 to 2014.
A reception for the honorees will be held at 5:15 p.m. in the Duke Rock Café, which is open to the public. The induction ceremony will be held during halftime of the Gloucester-Denbigh football game that starts at 7 o’clock.
