250+ expected to participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s

After a hiatus of several years, the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck is scheduled to return to Gloucester on Saturday.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the front lawn of Split Enz Salon, Main Street; opening ceremonies will begin at 9:30 and the walk will commence at 10 o’clock. There are one- and two-mile path options for the walk.

The Gloucester Main Street Association is partnering with the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association to host the event, which will benefit furthering the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Currently, over 250 walkers are expected to participate, making up 47 teams.
