Our hearts are saddened… Heaven gained another beautiful soul on April 5, 2022.

William Curtis Lett, known as Billy Lett, was 63 years young and joins his dad, Curtis Lett, and other family members in his heavenly home.

Billy is survived by his soulmate, Suzanna Shackelford; his two children, Jennifer Lett Davis (Ryan) and B.J. Lett, and his bonus children, Michelle Danforth (Stephen), Lauren Shackelford (J.D. Adams), Anna Shackelford, John Shackelford and Taylor Shackelford. Billy had lots of precious grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins. He is survived by his mother, Gloria A. Lett, and his six siblings, Angie, Terrie, Anita, Debbie, Vicki and Curt.

Billy was a waterman by trade. It was a life of early mornings before the sun came up … from oystering with tongs, to catching fish in nets, to crabbing via crab pots. He loved them all.

Billy’s other passion was deer hunting. You could find him in the woods with his hunting dogs during hunting season.
Sweet, kind, generous, hard-working, hard-playing brother, son, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, child of God … Billy, you will be forever missed … til we meet again. Give Dad a Big hug from Mom and ALL of us.

A Celebration of Life, conducted by Pastor Bill West, was held Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Crown Pointe Marina.
