Wetlands Board approves 4 requests

The Gloucester County Wetlands Board unanimously approved four requests before it during its Sept. 9 meeting.

Fred and Rozanne Bazzini of Spencer Road requested to construct a 4-foot-by-100-foot riprap revetment channel side of the existing bulkhead. The project also features a class one core stone with class two armor stones on filter cloth.

Lynn and Susan Kanwischer of Johns Point Road sought authorization to install 175 linear feet of class one rock revetment landward of a spartina fringe marsh. Though a living shoreline was considered, the cost of tree removal paired with the lack of light at the location caused the owners to choose the proposed design.

Christopher Rader requested the construction of 125 linear feet of rock revetment in front of a falling timber bulkhead. This project is located on York Haven Lane.
