Phyllis Koos of Hayes, a member of TOPS VA 0469 Gloucester, was recognized as the Virginia State Queen runner-up at the recent TOPS State Recognition Days. During her weight loss journey, Koos lost a total of 85.5 pounds. The Gloucester chapter of the TOPS Club Inc. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Gloucester.
