Volunteer awards

The Gloucester County Public Library recently announced the recipients of the 2019 President’s Volunteer Service Awards. Two teens were presented bronze awards this year and one teen received a gold award. Isabelle Pohorence, 15, received an award for 52 hours of service. Rochelle Castro, 14, received an award for 61 hours of service and Maveran Cloer, 15, received an award for 110.5 hours of service (gold award). Five adult volunteers, Theresa Denby, Carolyn Evans, Linda Hall, Charlie Harms and Roger Loring were also presented bronze awards. The PVSA program encourages citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition.
