Virtual job fair to be held May 25

The Gloucester County government has partnered with several other agencies to launch its first virtual job fair, “Let’s Get Back to Work, Middle Peninsula!” The event will feature large employers and small businesses and is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25.

The purpose of the event is for job seekers to meet and connect with top local and regional employers and professionals. Those questioning what employment direction they should take may figure out a career path or a field they want to explore at the event.

“We are hearing more and more frequently that employers are having difficulty filling their open positions,” said Gloria Mazzella Williams, Gloucester County’s Community Engagement and Public Information Manager. “The job openings are out there, and we are hopeful that this event will provide an opportunity for local businesses and regional employers to connect with qualified candidates.
