Two public hearings to be held Tuesday in Gloucester

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a pair of public hearings next week. Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse.

The first public hearing will be to consider a siting agreement between Gloucester County and Nursery Lane Storage, LLC who intends to construct an electrical energy storage facility off Nursery Lane. The project would be located on a six-acre tract of land in an industrial zone.

The second hearing is on the granting of the conditional use permit for a battery storage facility to be constructed for the previously mentioned project. This storage facility will be adjacent to the Dominion Energy-owned White Marsh Substation and the already approved Winterberry Solar Farm.
