The next Abingdon Ruritan Club Seafood Festival is quickly approaching, and the club wants the public to be aware that its ticket policy has changed.

Tickets will no longer be sold through local merchants. Tickets are $65 each, and are advanced sale only. No tickets will be sold at the gate. Everyone, including children of any age, must have a ticket. The dates the tickets will be on sale for each festival will be posted at www.abingdonruritanclub.com/seafood-festival, on Facebook and in the club’s announcements to the media.

Tickets will be sold to the public through PayPal. They will not be sold through local merchants nor will they be available through the mail as they were sold for previous festivals. “This decision was made after much discussion and study of the most efficient way of doing business in today’s changing world,” a release stated.
