Thomas Frederick “Tom” Neiger, 78, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. He was a member of Kingston Parish, Mathews, Virginia, and AA. Tom was a published writer, a poet and a Master Gardener. He retired from General Motors after 30 years.

He was predeceased by a son, Tommy Neiger.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Neiger; three daughters, Nancy Carlton (Matt), Debra Harmon and Kim Vulgarmore; a son, David Harmon (Kim); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Jan Strong (Dwaine).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 320 Williams Wharf Road, Mathews, Virginia 23109. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
