Adalean and Elouise Hudgins of Hudgins proudly display their Easter baskets after Saturday’s Easter egg hunt in Mathews. The beautiful weather brought out a bevy of children, who swarmed over the Mathews Court Green and scooped up all the eggs in less than 10 minutes. The annual hunt, which included a visit from the Easter Bunny, is sponsored by the Tara M. Plotino Memorial Fund, Mathews County Visitor and Information Center, and Buz and Tammy Rollins.
