T-Bar Electric, a HomeServe contractor based in Hayes, received the Mid-Atlantic Service Delivery Award for exceptional work as one of HomeServe’s leading contractors during an awards ceremony in September in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Out of a network of 2,400 contractors across the country, T-Bar was one of 13 contractors honored for “raising the industry bar and achieving excellence in customer service and service delivery,” said a press release. The company received 4.9 out of 5 stars in an evaluation that graded performance, score cards, customer feedback, and other measures.

Locally owned and operated since 1988, T-Bar provides both commercial and residential service, including generator installation and maintenance. The company has been affiliated with HomeServe for five years and has completed almost 900 jobs for HomeServe customers, serving much of Tidewater and the Middle Peninsula.
