Supervisors to hear report on Coleman Bridge tolls

Several state officials will be on hand Tuesday night to give the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors a report on the toll operations of the Coleman Bridge.

David Caudill, who is in charge of tolling for the Virginia Department of Transportation, and John Lawson, VDOT’s chief financial officer, will give the report during the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 6 o’clock in the colonial courthouse.

Other items on Tuesday night’s agenda include a public hearing, set to begin at 6:30, on the county’s proposed six-year plan for fiscal years 2019 through 2024 and the Secondary System Construction Budget for fiscal year 2019.

Gloucester building official Paul Koll will also provide the county’s floodplain management annual review. Also, Vince Jamison, district manager for Waste Management, will provide an update on operations at the Middle Peninsula Landfill and Recycling Facility and the county’s convenience centers.
