STEVEN ARTHUR BLEVINS

Steven Arthur Blevins, 57, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, surrounded by close family and friends. Steven was born on Aug. 29, 1964 to Arthur and Laverne Blevins in Williamsburg, Va.

Steven is survived by his five children and seven grandchildren; daughters, Jamie Blevins-Nesselrodt and husband Brannon, Amanda Plymel and husband Chris, Casey Pisarek and husband Chris, and Kayla Staples; son, Dustin Blevins and wife Kristine; grandchildren, Trent, Emily, Branson, Luke, Brinley, Carson and Noah. Steven was a loving father, grandfather and friend to everyone.

Steven had a passion for making everyone in his community smile because he did not know a stranger. You could see it all over him when he walked in a room, a restaurant, bowling alley, it didn’t matter. You could tell by the way he greeted folks that he was a joy, a light and just fun to be around. Steven embraced life and lived it fully and actively. Steven was a passionate fisherman and everything that went along with it. Because of him lots of friends and family have major fishing addiction problems. Fishing and spending time with his family and friends is where he spent his free time.

Family members will be scattering ashes to honor Steven’s memory in the next upcoming weeks. A Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 5, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Piankatank Community League at 11888 Harcum Road, Gloucester, Va. 23061 for friends and family.

His tireless love and devotion to his family were evident in his final moments.
