Stephen Alan “Al Pal” Minter, 62, of Mathews, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021. He was a graduate of Mathews High School and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Alan was predeceased by his parents, Leonard Diggs Minter Jr. and Barbara Regina Minter. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna Gail Minter; two daughters, Amanda “Nikki” Minter and Heather Minter (Nate); five grandchildren, Kaydence, Jayden, Nichol, Allana and Nate Jr.; a brother, Lennie Minter; two sisters, Gina Rowe and Sharon DeLaurentis, and also a host of other dear family members and friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo. Burial followed in Pear Tree Cemetery. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, Nancy Rowe, P.O.
