Solange Marthe “Sally” Gause, 76, of Gloucester, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

She was born in Fouras, France, and attended Bridgepoint Church.

She was a very caring and loving person that loved being outdoors and enjoyed her gardens producing the flowers that she loved. She was a ham radio operator (WD4GES) and deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edwen Gause; son, André Gause and daughter, Barbara Little; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews, all in France.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
