To properly kick-off Guinea Jubilee week, a Singspiration will be presented on Sunday afternoon at First Morning Star Baptist Church, Bena.The program, which will be held from 4-6 p.m., is being organized by the locally well-known Kellum Family Singers and will include musical selections from them, as well as performances by seven other musical groups and individuals.

“It’s rumored that even Elvis will be making an appearance,” a release stated. A free-will offering will be taken for the benefit of community programs sponsored by the host church. At the conclusion of the program, homemade cake and punch refreshments will be served in the church’s fellowship hall.

“Our purpose for this event, as is with the entire Guinea Jubilee program, is to bring the community closer together—this Singspiration aims to encourage that with music,” the release stated.
