Mr. Shawn Ronald Woodlen was born on May 10, 1986 to Marsha Lamarr Lemon in New York, New York. Shawn received his formal education through the Gloucester County, Virginia, Public School System.

Shawn was employed by Hana Sushi where he worked as a Hibachi Chef for five collective years. Shawn enjoyed working, helping others and spending time with his family and friends.

Shawn departed this life on July 7, 2022. He was a member of White Marsh Baptist Church in Gloucester, Va., and was a follower of Jesus Christ. He leaves his mother, Marsha Lemon; sisters, Tacha Heard (deceased), Tara Lemon-Rowan; daughter; Tristan Washington, son; Julian Woodlen, aunts, Gloria Woodlen, Yvette Thompson, Shirley Nurse; uncles, Ronald Woodlen (deceased), Lewis Wolfe; nieces, Tatiana Heard, Taylor Heard; nephew, Caleb Rowan, and a host of cousins, other loving relatives, and friends to cherish his memory.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Shepherdsville Baptist Church, Gloucester.
