Screening of ‘Suicide’ documentary Nov. 29 in Gloucester

A screening of the film “Suicide: The Ripple Effect,” which describes itself as “a movie and a mission to eradicate suicide,” will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at the T.C. Walker Education Center Auditorium, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester.

The film chronicles the story of Kevin Hines who, at age 19, attempted to take his life by jumping from San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, a release stated. Since then, Hines has been on a mission to use his story to help others stay alive and find recovery.

To register, visit www.chvc.online. Registrations are not required but encouraged. A $5 donation will be accepted at the event to benefit the suicide prevention awareness initiatives of the Prevention Services Division of the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board. ...
