Scaled-back Ware Neck project on Tuesday’s agenda

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing Tuesday night to consider a zoning amendment that would allow a retail shop and a residential unit to be constructed on a portion of a nearly nine-acre piece of property on Daffodil Lane, Ware Neck. The public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. in the colonial courthouse and the board’s regular meeting will start at 6:30.

According to a public notice, the Gloucester Planning Commission previously held a public hearing on the matter, voting 5-2 to forward it to the board of supervisors with a recommendation of denial. However, since that time, applicants Kerry and Tusnee McDaniel revised their application to address concerns that were raised during the planning commission’s public hearing.
