Ruritans to hold clam chowder sale Saturday

The Abingdon Ruritan Club will hold a clam chowder sale beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at its location at 8784 Guinea Road, Bena.

The sale will continue until noon, or when the chowder is sold out. This is currently the club’s main fundraiser while they are unable to hold their signature seafood festivals due to COVID-19. All pandemic restrictions will be adhered to during Saturday’s sale. Purchases may be made by cash or check. The price is $10 per quart.
