Rosewell to hold ‘A Taste of Virginia’

The Rosewell Foundation will hold a new, signature fundraising event, “A Taste of Virginia,” from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17.

This event will include all-you-can-eat-and-drink of traditional foods and beverages of Virginia. The event had originally been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14.

Rosewell Foundation board president Clayton James said money raised by A Taste of Virginia will support the operation and ongoing development of the Rosewell Plantation Ruins.

James said the tasting “will highlight not only local favorites, but also some of traditional foods and beverages for which the state is best known.”

Seafood dishes, various types of pork products, peanuts, soups and stews, breads, pies, cakes, wines, craft beers and more will be served. Music will be provided by Something Different Duo, a father-daughter team.
