Guinea Circle (Route 652) in lower Gloucester County closed to through traffic Monday for a pipe replacement project. The road is expected to remain closed for about a week as crews replace deteriorated drainage pipe in the 4200 block of the road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. During the closure, motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour route, which includes Routes 653 and 649.
