The Rite Aid location in Hayes will be closing its doors next Thursday, Jan. 18, according to store manager Rhonda Brown.

Brown said that she is unable to disclose the reason the location will be closing and all customers are being notified about their prescriptions being transferred out.

Rite Aid filed for bankruptcy last October, although Brown was unable to confirm if that was the reason behind the Hayes location’s pending closure.

“I have been with this company for 29 years. I was here when this location opened 19 years ago. This is really emotional for me and my employees,” said Brown.
