Michael Cecere, a Revolutionary War historian and reenactor, and history teacher at Gloucester High School, will address the Gloucester Historical Society on Sunday.

The group will meet at 2 p.m. in the parish house of Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh.

Cecere is expected to talk about the events of 1776 and 1781.

He is the author of more than a dozen books and frequent speaker at seminars of the National Park Service and captain of the recreated Continental Army’s 7th Virginia Regiment.
