Members of Mathews County’s PATH organization (People Aging in Their Homes) attended the Ferguson Center on Good Friday to hear JoAnn Falletta conduct the Virginia Symphony in a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, also called the Resurrection Symphony. Falletta discussed the music before the concert, said a press release, adding that the soaring music was a perfect lead-in to Easter weekend.
