ReStore expands its hours

Habitat for Humanity of Gloucester-Mathews has expanded its ReStore hours beginning this week, according to board president Mike Davis.

Located at the White Marsh Shopping Center, the ReStore is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

“The hour changes are in place as we are ramping up our efforts to raise money to build a home for a disabled veteran in our community and continue the refurbishment of homes in need in our community,” Davis said. “The longer hours offer an opportunity for you to come in after you get off of work.”

The ReStore receives donations of clothing, furniture, household items and building materials and supplies, which are then offered for resale to fund ongoing Habitat for Humanity community activities.
