BUBBA’S BARBECUE SAUCE

What Bubba Leigh used for 70-lb. pork butts

1 gal. cider vinegar

1 gal. water

4 lb. light brown sugar

2 40-oz. bottles Heinz ketchup

Red pepper finely ground, to taste

Red cayenne pepper, diced, to taste

Mix all ingredients together and rub each butt, then begin grilling.

 

MACARONI SALAD

1 (16-oz.) pkg. macaroni 

4 eggs 

1 c. mayonnaise 

½ c. sour cream 

1 tsp. salt, or to taste 

¼ tsp. ground black pepper, or to taste 

¼ tsp. ground mustard 

2 Tbs. sweet pickle juice 

2 Tbs. celery seed 

1 c. chopped celery 

½ c. chopped red onion 

½ c. pimento-stuffed green olives 

¼ c. chopped sweet pickle 

2 carrots, grated 

1 green bell pepper, chopped
