HOW TO FRY A SOFT CRAB
Al Smith

Make an egg wash of 1 can of evaporated milk and 1 large egg. Once crabs are cleaned and washed, dip crabs into egg wash and place on a wire rack to drain. When completely drained, dredge each crab in choice of flour and/or cornmeal, but I use packaged seasoned breading mix. Fry in 375°F. oil until brown on both sides. Do not overcook.

CROCK-POT BBQ
Vicki Ambrose

1 Boston pork butt
1 c. vinegar
1 c. apple juice

Sprinkle on top of Boston butt: Crushed red pepper, Montreal Steak Seasoning, salt and pepper, seasoning salt, hickory smoked salt, Tabasco sauce.

Place Boston butt in large Crock-Pot. Pour juice and vinegar over the butt. Sprinkle with seasonings. Cook on high at least 8 hours or until meat falls off the bone. Remove from cooker and chop into BBQ. I prefer to pull it apart. Pour ½ c. liquid from cooker into pulled pork and stir.
