The Guinea Heritage Association will recognize artists and photographers competing in the Fine Art and Photography contests in a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday at Buck’s Store Museum, Bena.

“We have had such a large interest in the art contest from fine artists and photographers alike that we are holding two separate contests,” said Leslie Belvin of the GHA Board of Directors.

Hogg Funeral Home has sponsored the Fine Art Print Contest, Belvin said. “Hogg Funeral Home has strong ties to Guinea and is an advocate for the arts,” Belvin said. “The GHA is very grateful for this sponsorship.”

The public is invited to come out to meet the artists and photographers and view their work. Refreshments will be served and all participating artists/photographers will be recognized at 2:30 p.m.
