Reathea B. Plimpton, age 88, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Oct. 22, 2021.

Born on Jan. 20, 1933, she was the daughter the late Marchant and Rena Powell, and was preceded in death by her husband, Homer A. Plimpton Jr.

She was the loving mother of Jeffrey Plimpton, Mark (Joan) Plimpton, Lee (Cindy Neumeyer) Plimpton and Kelly (Dennis) Foley; cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also survived by nieces and nephews.
