RCC to switch to remote learning as virus spreads

Add Rappahannock Community College to the growing list of coronavirus
cancellations.

Classes are cancelled for Monday and Tuesday to allow for
the transition, according to a message from RCC president Dr. Shannon L.
Kennedy.

Classroom instruction and student advising will be conducted
virtually starting Wednesday, March 18 and continuing until at least Saturday,
April 4. Online classes will continue without change.

College events are suspended from Monday, March 16 through
April 4. This includes events sponsored by any recognized student organization
and other affiliated groups.

RCC will revisit the situation and provide further
communication no later than March 27.

RCC campuses and sites will remain open unless otherwise
noted. Their libraries including the Richmond County Public Library, housed on
the Warsaw
campus, will remain open.

Keeping the campuses open allows faculty to develop and
deliver lessons and materials electronically and students to access computers...
