Richard Adams of London, Kentucky, right, won a quilt raffled by the Mathews County Woman’s Club for its scholarship fund. The handcrafted quilt was donated by the Blackstone College for Girls National Alumnae Association and was presented by Martha Frame of Cobbs Creek, left, a member of both organizations. The school ceased operation in 2016.
