Preston Edward Saher, age 51, of Hayes, died on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Preston was a graduate of The Arts Institute of Las Vegas. He loved cooking, building and most of all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Dillenschneider. Survived by his wife, Carolyn Saher; sons, Gage Saher, Elijah Wheeler; daughter, Anastasia Maity (Paul); grandson, Aidan Maity; father, Zygmund Saher (Cheryl); sister, Laura Saher; brother, Wesley Saher (Cheryl); numerous nieces, nephews and canine best friends, “Fred” and “Dude.” The family will have a Celebration of Life at their home on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, 8137 Brays Point Road, Hayes, Va. 23072, beginning at 4 p.m. In memory of our loved one, contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, N.J. 08540.
