Paul Elliott Casey, 73, of Gwynn’s Island, formerly of Richmond, passed away at his home on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020.

Paul was in the car business for more than 40 years, serving in every capacity from salesman, finance and general manager, to owner. He served as a mail carrier in Mathews, Virginia, for the past 15 years. He was never happier than when those he was with were having a great time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hurley and Hazel Casey; two sons, Vernon Paul and Christopher Raymond Casey. He is survived by a daughter, Margaret Casey Harp (Sean); two grandchildren, Cathleen Harp and Ryan Harp; one great-grandchild, Rylee Christopher Harp. Another great-grandchild will arrive in March.

There is no formal service planned at this time. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date.
